Right then, have an interview with Matthew Waterhouse. We managed to get him for a phone natter whilst he was at a book signing. In it he tells us a little about his books, his days on the show and also comments on how both he and his charecter, Adric, have been perceived down the years... Listen after the DWPA interview with Matthew as, hopefully, the two go together...
Note: Thie interview was done over the electric telephone, so there's a bit of scrunchle and other general radiophonic sounds...

Contained within, please find a small podcast from the Doctor Who Podcast Alliance - which can be found at - featuring Adam from Staggering Stories, Martyn from Bad Wilf, Tony from The Flashing Blade and... some old git from Professor Dave's Ark In Space. The podcast gives a nice little flavour of the event at Waterstones, Lakeside in Thurrock and we have interviews with Hirst Books, Tenth Planet, some of the, er 'crowd', and of course, Matthew Waterhouse himself. Matthew also gives us a reading from his memoir, 'Blue Box Boy'.
There'll be more to come from the DWPA, so keep your eyes open for it...

'What is real life?'
This time around we have a chat with a Nick Briggs. Hear about the old Audio Visuals, the 90's fan explosion and just why a Judoon voice REALLY hurts the throat... Listen in conjunction with the DWPA interview with Nick as they compliment each other.

Just to give folks a feel for the launch party that was held in London, where far too many people all watched The Eleventh Hour at once! There are interviews with attendees and also the organisers, Jeremy Bentham and Tony Clark, as well as Alan Stevens from Magic Bullet Productions and writer and editor Anthony Brown.
In attendence for the DWPA were Staggering Stories, The Flashing Blade, The Ood Cast and that cheeky little interloper, Professor Dave's Ark In Space.
Expect more from the DWPA very soon.

Hello there. Well, I finally got around to starting a new podcast, after Staggering Stories and my stint on the DWO WhoCast. This is just more of the same. However, there is a twist. My new co-host, my plucky girl assistant, Jo!, is fairly new to all this nonsense, and much as she likes Doctor Who etc, she is not well versed in it. As a result, her views are refreshing and new, uncluttered with all the old cliches that all us Doctor Who podcasters come out with. However, she is dangerous when it comes to peppermint tea. Just thought I should warn you...
So, The Flashing Blade Podcast 1-1 (thats series 1, number 1) should be with you shortly. We both hope you enjoy it and we'll plop some bio's and piccies of ourselves up here shortly :)
Toodles... |
